The Residency Program at Vintage Church is designed to unlock your God-given potential to walk in your calling through building leadership skills, igniting spiritual growth, and shaping character through personal development that will benefit every area of your life.
As a Resident you will work alongside the Ministry, Next Gen, Creative and Operations Teams at Vintage Church to effectively execute a variety of areas during weekend services and events, as well as planning and preparation during the week. To be considered, you must be 18+ years old.
The Vintage Church Residency Program is designed to unlock your God-given potential by building your leadership skills, igniting your spiritual growth, and shaping your character. Get paid to earn while you learn. Residents are paid, part-time employees of Vintage Church. Space is limited, so apply today in one of these four areas:
Work alongside our Kids and Youth Teams to equip the next generation in the following areas:
• Weekend Programming
• Events & Connections
• Youth Small Groups
• General Administration
• Logistics & Discipleship
Work alongside our Creative Teams to create engaging environments in the following areas:
• Worship & Production
• Graphics & Website
• Motion Graphics & Video
• Church Communications
Work alongside our Ministry Team to help people connect to God and to others in the following areas:
• Small Group Ministry,
• Teams Care & Recruiting
• Weekend Connections
• Event Logistics
Work alongside our Operations Team to develop systems and administrate the following areas:
• Church Finances, Bookkeeping & Budgets
• Systems Administration
We encourage anyone 18+ with a call to full time ministry to apply for the Residency Program. There are no minimum educational requirements.
WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS?
We encourage anyone 18+ and with a Ministry Calling to apply!
DO I GET PAID?
Yes, you will be paid as a part-time staff member. Pay will be determined by education, experience, and availability.
WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL INVESTMENT?
This Residency is a tuition-free program. You simply give us your time and a great attitude.
CAN I WORK AN OUTSIDE PART-TIME JOB?
In most cases you will be able to have a part-time job while participating in our Residency program.
DO I NEED A CAR?
Your Residency responsibilities will require transportation.
IS HOUSING PROVIDED?
Housing is not provided.
HOW LONG IS THE RESIDENCY TERM?
The Spring 2019 term will last from January 20, 2019 - May 4, 2019.
WILL I BE OFFERED A PERMANENT JOB AT THE END OF THE RESIDENCY?
At the conclusion of the residency, we may offer either a second residency, a part-time position or a full-time position at Vintage Church. This is dependent upon performance, position availability and review of residency. We are not necessarily looking to recruit and hire new Vintage Church employees. Our goal is to train and equip you for whatever God is leading you to do next.
ARE THERE ANY EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS?
No, but come with a willingness to learn.
HOW MANY HOURS WILL I BE WORKING?
Weekly Office Hours (8-12 hours/week)
Each week you will have responsibilities as a part of your Ministry Residency. Hours will be determined between you and your direct report based on the Ministry Resident Job Description. Hours are flexible but must be consistent days and times.
Weekend Services & Event Hours (4-8 hours/week)
Throughout your Residency you will have responsibilities during services and events as needed. Weekend and event hours will be determined between you and your direct report. Hours are flexible but must be consistent days and times.
Ministry Journal & Leadership Class
Each week you will work through Ministry Journal, a personal development and organization tool. You will receive this tool on your first day and will use it during the Residency Program. You can find out more at ministryjournal.com. You will also complete an online leadership class and comprehension assignment each week.
